About the Opportunity

We are seeking capable Travel & Tour Consultants whose role will be to receive, analyze, and process tour requests according to the company’s service delivery standards to maximize the company‘s turnover. The Tours Consultant is further responsible for on-the-job training in the consulting area, assisting with the smooth running of the department, and checking the completion of tour requests according to set standards.

Specific responsibility/day-to-day activities

Tour Consultant reports directly to the Team Leader in their market cluster. 

•  Accountable for the daily processing of all relevant incoming requests, according to set standards.
•  Acknowledge agents’ emails, and prepare accurate and detailed tour proposals on time. 
•  Ensure bookings are captured correctly and all services are booked. 
•  Preparation of booking documentation as per the set guidelines 
• Ensure costs are captured correctly; files are invoiced, and have correct margins. 

Minimum requirements

• Relevant degree-level education preferably in Tourism and Hospitality Sectors.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills both in verbal and written formats
• Strong Customer Service and Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels
• ICT Proficient
• Proficiency in English and any other Foreign language will be an advantage.
