    Resource Mobilization Analyst

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Spearheads efforts to secure the financial and other resources needed for the Alliance to accomplish its mission
    • Oversee coordination of the project pipeline: synchronize proposal submissions; support proposal development; maintain records of the resource mobilization cycle and lessons learnt
    • Provided support with administrative matters, and the submission and follow up of all proposals.
    • Data entry of our pipeline information in our institutional data base (Agresso)
    • Donor information: maintain donor contacts database
    • Provide pipeline information for management decision making.
    • Ensure that policies and procedures are adequately reflected in the project proposals to be submitted.
    • Work closely with different units within the organization e.g. PMO’s, OPD, GMU, PLANS, IT, P&C, Supervisors, and other users during the proposal development stage.

    Requirements

    REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related fields
    • Minimum of two (2) years progressively experience in resource mobilization, administration or related field.
    • Knowledge in fundraising and experience of prospect research.
    • Proficiency in relevant software programs and office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Desirable: Agresso, Power BI
    • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written including the ability to organize and write clear and concise reports; French & Spanish language will be desirable
    • Demonstrated capacity to work with interdisciplinary teams in a culturally diverse and inclusive work environment.
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative, and decentralized environment, and operate under tight deadlines.
    • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines while still maintaining attention to detail and accuracy, and problem solve effectively;
    • Previous experience working for international development and/or research organizations, NGOs or UN agencies is highly desirable;

    Talent Acquisition Analyst

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and evaluate talent acquisition at the national level, implementing improvements and adaptive actions.
    • Execute in its entirety the talent acquisition process of national positions for the Africa region while managing the employer branding and nurturing a diverse talent pool.
    • Guides regional teams in developing job descriptions, monitoring quality and consistency.
    • Receive and classify job applications according to the profile and manage the bidder pool to select candidates that meet the job profile to be filled. 
    • Prepare selection reports that include information and analysis for the process clearly evidencing the criteria for selection.
    • Coordinate with the requesting area/project/unit the administration of knowledge evaluations if required (assessment center) for the selection process.
    • Keep statistical control and prepare monthly reports on the execution of the recruitment, selection, and appointment processes.
    • Apply psycho-technical tests, perform the analysis of results, and prepare reports of psychological evaluations for cases that are required, in addition to the recruitment and selection processes that are carried out. 
    • Ensure KPIs to monitor and evaluate talent acquisition services are met.
    • Plan and execute the process for the publication of job opportunities in web portals and other media; external and internal, as well as evaluate and propose updates or new media and sources.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    •  Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Human Resource Management or Psychology.
    • At least 3 years of proven experience in human resources management with special focus on talent acquisition.
    • Active membership of IHRM.
    • Experience in the application and analysis of personality tests for selection (DISC desirable).
    • Proven experience in the use of applicant tracking systems (ATSs).
    • High level of computer skills with ability to handle Human Resources Information Systems and learn new applications quickly.
    • High level of organizational skills, integrity, and confidentiality.
    • Excellent interpersonal relationships at all levels within the organization with experience working across different countries in Africa.
    • Negotiation and assertive communication skills, analytical and strategic thinking.
    • Full English language proficiency, both written and oral including the ability to organize and write clear and concise reports.  Knowledge of French will be an added advantage.
