    Relationship Manager – Partnerships & Corporates

    Job Purpose:

    The Relationship Manager – Partnerships & Corporates will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key partners and corporates to drive the bank's asset finance portfolio. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with existing clients, and ensuring the delivery of tailored financial solutions to meet client needs.

    Key Accountabilities: 

    • Management and development of dealer/vendor partnership schemes and relationships.
    • Leasing portfolio management. Support in structuring, renewals, and drawdown from limits.
    • Management of pre-approved limits through preparation and analysis of drawdown requests and follow up for renewals.
    • Enhancement of the inter-sector/segment synergies for product customization e.g. Health, Education, Eco-system, Retail, PSI, Corporate and Business Banking
    • Dealer liaison and effective communication including preparation of notification letters to dealers.
    • Development of sector policies, products, and client value propositions
    • General sector administration and reports.
    • Branch enquiries support and customer service.
    • Implementation of overall sector strategic direction
    • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
    • Identify potential risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the asset finance industry.
    • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Minimum of a Diploma or First Degree from a recognized institution.
    • Minimum of 6 Years’ experience in the banking industry.
    • Has a good understanding of the Bank’s credit processes.
    • Has experience in quality management in credit.

    Billers Lead (EBKL)

    Job Purpose:

    Billers Lead is responsible for reviewing biller applications and ensure compliance to process and procedures. She/He is also responsible for quality of approved billers as well as ensuring product awareness with staff and customers. He/She ensures end to end processing of biller applications and utilization.

    Key Accountabilities: 

    • Responsible for reviewing biller processes and policies and ensuring implementation.
    • Support in biller integrations, testing and activation.
    • In charge of key biller relationship management and performance.
    • Achieving targeted growth in individual and team portfolio revenue.
    • Training of staff and customers on Billers.
    • Liaison with technical teams to ensure seamless recruitment process and system integrations.
    • Responsible for biller performance and reports availability.
    • Responsible for biller marketing and branding.
    • Timely sharing of market intelligence and market trends
    • Any other duty assigned by team leader.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
    • Minimum KCSE mean grade C+ or O level
    • Computer knowledge with excel packages or exposure.
    • Over 3 years working experience in the Bank
    • Experience in overall branch operations especially Cash, Account opening, Customer Service,)
    • Previous experience in agency banking –should be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of market routine surprise checks and how they are conducted.
    • Knowledge of competitors analysis and market feedback
    • Ability to identify and respond to customer needs. 

    Key Skills and Competencies: 

    • Demonstrate high exposure and skills in computer spreadsheets.
    • Demonstrate good record keeping skills.
    • Strong business marketing and sales skills
    • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

    • Ability to identify and respond to customer and agents needs
