Their job involves preventing drowning or other water-related accidents that could lead to serious injuries or fatalities. This role requires a combination of physical, mental, and interpersonal skills, as well as an understanding of water safety and lifesaving techniques.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours.
    • Maintain and maintain the pool area ensuring a clean, secure and safe environment.
    • Employ accident prevention by enforcing pool rules and regulations.
    • Respond to all injuries, incidents, and emergencies as directed by the hotel policy.
    • Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the pool area.
    • Closely monitor any activities related to the pool area.
    • Identify any safety issues throughout the shift and report accordingly.

    Qualifications

They are responsible for sorting linen, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size, and material. They are responsible for washing and drying of items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sorting linen, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size, and material.
    • Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols.
    • Operate washers and dryers according to recommended capacity and other manufacturers’ guidelines.
    • At completion of washing cycle unloads laundry and places in extractors and or tumblers.
    • Places wet garments in dryers utilizing separate compartments and sets timer based on type of garments.
    • Removes laundry from tumbler dryer after it has dried and places in coded garment bag or distribution line for delivery or pick-up.
    • Monitor feeder information on washers and dryers to ensure proper operation.

    • Cleans machine of lint and notifies team leader of needed repairs.
    • Maintains working area in a clean and orderly manner.

    Qualifications

    • Certificate in Housekeeping and Laundry Operations from a recognized institution

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and industry partners, serving as the main point of contact and addressing client needs and inquiries effectively.

Incumbent’s primary objective is to ensure smooth operations in the Coffee Shop and any other coffee dispensing areas, in accordance with company and departmental policies. Other responsibilities will include managing inventory and maintaining high standards of quality, safety and hygiene. He/she will ensure a delightful customer experience for each guest in accordance with Hyatt's standards, characterized by professionalism and courtesy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Be familiar with all food and beverage items on the other outlet menus in addition to the Coffee Shop Menu.
    • Informs customers about the available food and beverage options in the Coffee Shop and provides customers with information about the hotel.
    • Prepares specialty coffee and other Coffee Shop drinks. Follow standard recipes and minimize waste to help ensure that the outlet’s beverage cost is in line with budget.
    • Operates Coffee Shop equipment according to proper procedures and report maintenance issues in a timely manner.
    • Serve food and beverages to guests, according to the established standards of performance and service sequence established for the outlet. Apply up-selling techniques.
    • Be flexible wherever possible in meeting special requests from guests for specific beverage preparation methods and ingredients.

    • Track item expiry within the outlet and ensure procedures regarding expiry control are honoured to avoid losses and for the safety of consumers of the food and beverage items.
    • Prepare the outlet for operation, including mise-en-place, setting and resetting tables, light cleaning, and other assigned tasks.
    • Utilize the outlet point-of-sales system as prescribed.
    • Complete all sales through the Micros system, processes transactions in accordance with established accounting procedures ensuring proper cash handling and be responsible for the cash drawer.
    • Accounts for all cash and secures money drops in accordance with hotel and company policies.
    • Ensure that all sales are properly recorded and reconciled, following prescribed procedures for ordering, voiding, or correcting items.
    • Close and open Coffee Shop on time with proper setup for the day and in accordance with opening and closing procedures.
    • Ensure that all company minimum brand standards are implemented, and that optional brand standards are implemented where appropriate.
    • Assist in inventory-taking as required.
    • Assist in resolving the discrepancy in inventory.
    • Deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional, friendly, courteous, and professional guest service always.
    • Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
