    Senior Manager, Transmission System Planning

    Reporting to the General Manager, Project Development Services

    Job purpose

    This job is responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance in development and implementation of strategies in system studies, transmission planning, project development and monitoring & evaluation to ensure development of a robust, reliable, efficient and costeffective power transmission system.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Providing leadership to staff in the Department
    • Providing technical leadership in the development and implementation of strategies in system studies, transmission planning, project development
    • Guiding power system studies, transmission planning, project development, and monitoring & evaluation strategies pertaining to development of the transmission network
    • Overseeing quality and timeliness of developed detailed power system studies and network analysis to ensure secure and reliable national grid

    Qualifications & Skills Required:

    Job purpose

    Human Resource Officer Payroll & Compensation

    Job purpose

    This Job is responsible for timely and accurate salary and pension administration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining and updating compensation database
    • Compiling accurate pay slips and ensuring all data for payroll is prepared

    • Processing of pension benefits in accordance with the Trust Deeds and Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) rules and regulations

    • Implementing storage and warehousing functions in line with the requirements of the PPADA 2015.
    • Participating and providing secretariat services in all procurement and asset disposal committees including receipt and issuance of goods in the stores, inspection & acceptance, and disposal committees.

    Job purpose

    Job Purpose

    This job is responsible Coordinating implementation of security Procedures and Work Instructions for effective and efficient security management in the Company’s premises and Installations.

    Key Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks:

    • Supervising the Security Agents/Regional Officers.
    • Ensuring that the Company staff and service providers comply with security policies, regulations, and guidelines.
    • Ensuring systematic filing and documentation of all security operation files and reports.
    • Ensuring all contracted security personnel are well conversant with work procedures and work standing orders.
    • Ensuring effective and efficient manning of CCTV and Access Control to the Company’s premises to detect any unlawful access or interference.
    • Supervising contracted security personnel and other security agencies.
    • Conducting routine physical security inspections of Company’s premises, assets, and transmission lines.
    • Undertaking Security Risk Assessments and Security Inspections.

    • Processing monthly security invoices for Security Service Providers as laid down in the Security Procedures and Work Instructions in a timely manner.
    • Assisting in the training and sensitization of the Company staff on issues relating to security threats.
    • Performing security surveillance in the Company Premises, Transmission Lines (both complete and under construction).
    • Proactively collecting, collating, and disseminating relevant security intelligence that can be used to prevent security breaches against employees, assets, and installations.
    • Attending to all operational security-related incidents as directed in liaison with other government security organs.
    • Identifying gaps in the existing security setup and make recommendations for amendment where necessary.

    Qualifications & Skills required:

    • A bachelor’s degree in social sciences/security management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
    • Served in the Police Service/Military and attained the rank of Inspector/Captain.
    • Management course lasting not less than three months from a recognized institution.
    • Investigations/Intelligence course lasting not less than one (1) month.
    • Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) months.
    • Computer literate.
    • A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.
