    Head of Reservations

    Key Requirements:

    • Ensure existing and new team members have the capability to (1) internalise & consistently follow SOPs; and (2) learn and optimally use tools (technology) provided
    • Review, assess and evolve the portfolio of SOPs deemed necessary to achieve the primary goal
    • Ensure the proper use of a CRM software to track team member performance and other KPIs acting as leading indicators towards the achievement of the primary goal
    • Effectively with other departments (e.g. finance) to ensure the booking procedure is following cross-functional policies and SOPs
    • Training the reservation team
    • Ensure high employee engagement within the reservations team, with a focus on morale and job satisfaction

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a relevant field
    • At least 5 years of experience in a reservations management role within the hospitality industry – ideally with Safari hospitality industry
    • Excellent “floor leader” motivation, communication and decision-making skills
    • Proficiency in using Central Reservation System
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
    • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality inquiry management experiences

    Reservation Agent

    Key Requirements:

    • Provide a professional consultancy service for clients, anticipating their needs and offering a range of value-added solutions to exceed expectations
    • Look after customers’ travel needs from first enquiry to travel completed, by phone or email
    • Book a range of travel products and offer professional advice, inclusive of specialist fares
    • Adapt to different priorities and client needs
    • Use a Consultative Sales approach
    • Regularly check and action airline queue messages and monitor existing bookings on hold
    • Achieve and maintain targets by working efficiently
    • Exhibit positive behavior and a ‘can do’ attitude
    • Act as a team player to ensure the overall success of the team and overall Operations function
    • Make new members of the team feel welcome, sharing knowledge as appropriate
    • Actively contribute to achieve the SLA targets and team incentives
    • Attend weekly team updates and participate and share feedback in team meetings
    • Participate in team activities, providing support to team members as required
    • Assist clients who may be calling for another team member who is busy
    • Proactively manage personal productivity, profitability, and quality assurance targets to meet or exceed requirements
    • Ensure all necessary actions are taken to reach and maintain SLA targets
    • Maintain the company standards for monthly booking checks and ticket book entries
    • Continually keep fully abreast of airline contracts, routings, and services
    • Attend offered training to ensure all knowledge of airlines, fares, services, products, and benefits remains fully up to date.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a bachelors in travel, tour, hospitality or any other relevant degree
    • Must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, preferably in English
    • Should be experienced in native GDS
    • Should be passion for and experience in business travel
    • Ability to deal with clients effectively over the phone, emails and other channels such as webchats and social media
    • Communicate effectively with other teams and departments to support a collaborative environment
    • Exhibit and encourage a clear, simple communication style and act as an ambassador for the company’s values and competency framework
    • Excellent fares knowledge including post ticketing changes and cancellations
    • Excellent knowledge of the travel industry
    • Experience working across cultures and with remote teams.

    Business Development Executive

    Key Requirements:

    • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are tracked and achieved
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate the various niche markets
    • Plan and implement critical marketing initiatives to support the timely achievement of sales objectives
    • Develop, build, and manage stakeholder relationships both internal and external including suppliers, government, institutions, and individuals
    • Ensure product, people, and processes compliance with respective statutory and quality control bodies local, regional, or otherwise
    • Plan and lead weekly team and departmental meetings in view of set goals
    • Weekly or monthly reporting to the Board as required
    • Actively participate in budgeting and day to day ad-hoc analysis to test the cost-benefit side of business

    Qualifications:

    • Must have master’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration or Marketing
    • Must 5+years of experience in a Sales or Commercial role in Kenya
    • Must have experience in the HORECA sector
    • Proven track record in successful business development and/or business management
    • Experience in identifying and developing sales leads through various marketing channels
    • Financial Planning & Strategy experience – budgeting & reporting
    • Excellent Communication Skills (both written and oral)
    • Proven ability to meet deadlines and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
    • Positive mindset combined with excellent influencing and collaboration skills
    • Ideally experience and knowledge in recycling or renewable energy.
