    Director, Supply Chain Management Services

    Requirements for Appointment:

    • Be an employee of Tharaka Nithi County
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: - Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Procurement, Supply Management, Marketing or their equivalent qualification & from a recognized institution
    • A Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Related field will be added advantage

    • Facilitate public education and training programmes relating to citizen participation;

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Be an employee of Tharaka Nithi County
    • Have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Project Planning and Management, community development or equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya.

    The officer reports to the Director Budget and Economic Planning and will be responsible for assisting the Budget and Economic Planning in:

    • Lead the monitoring and evaluations team in establishing clearly defined and measurable outcomes for the implementation of the Monitoring and Evaluation framework;
    • Lead person in monitoring the implementation of national and county government’s development plans and evaluating the performance of national and county governments and recommending appropriate action;
    • Coordinate the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual reports of the Committee’s activities;

    • Coordinate development, review and implementation of the Strategic Plan and Service Charter;

    • Providing strategic leadership to the M&E unit, ensuring the development and implementation of robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks for the county;
    • Developing and overseeing the implementation of a county M&E system;
    • Analyzing departmental and sectoral reports and coordinating Departmental M&E activities to ensure compliance with the M&E framework;
    • Timely preparation of M&E reports;
    • Liaising with relevant stakeholders;
    • Carrying out capacity building functions in relation to M&E;
    • Carrying out periodic evaluations of projects and programmes; and
