    Chief Financial Officer

    Principal Accountabilities

    • Developing efficient budget proposals in coordination with departmental Managers and advising on necessary adjustments for future financial projections and budgets.
    • Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyzing internal operations and identifying areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.
    • Overseeing the compliance of the company with relevant regulatory bodies.
    • Performing risk management analysis of company liabilities and investments, evaluating and managing capital structure and financing options for the company.
    • Formulating and implementing financial strategies and policies and highlighting key areas of improvement
    • Preparing and submitting accurate financial statements including income statements, board reports and tax returns.

    Key Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or any other related field from a recognized university.
    • Professionally recognized qualifications preferably ACCA or CPA-K or equivalent Chartered Accountant.
    • A Master’s degree in business administration, or any business-related field from a recognized university will be an added advantage.
    • Be an active member of ICPAK body.
    • At least 15 years in the finance industry and seven (7) years relevant working experience in a management role.
    • Knowledge of the insurance industry will be an added advantage.
    • Proper understanding of accounting and insurance regulatory issues and tax planning.
    • Proven leadership skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Extensive experience in operations management.

    Underwriting Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Developing, implementing, and interpreting departmental policies, procedures, endorsements, and methodologies that assess the company’s financial risk.
    • Executing strategic initiatives that support profit, growth, retention, and customer service objectives.
    • Analyzing statistical data in order to determine eligible and non- eligible individuals for insurance coverage by assessing clients’ background information.
    • Managing the underwriting team by overseeing and assigning tasks and providing support on complex issues to underwriters, underwriting assistants and interns working within the department.
    • Conducting quality control checks by reviewing policy decisions and insurance proposals from time to time.
    • Reviewing insurance premiums based on informed judgment and competitor pricing.
    • Assessing agency performance and recommending the appointment or cancellation of agents

    Key Qualifications and Experience

    • Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other related field from a recognized university.
    • At least seven (7) years’ relevant working experience preferably in the Insurance industry and three (3) years’ experience in a managerial position
    • A post Graduate professional qualification in Insurance (ACII / AIIK)
    • Sound understanding of reinsurance markets and mechanisms.
    • Possess leadership skills and the ability to work with diverse teams

    Claims Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Developing and leading the implementation of the Claims strategy to ensure the achievement of targets.
    • Managing claims at the individual and portfolio levels.
    • Implementing plans and initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Reviewing business workflows to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Ensuring accurate preparation, and timely submission of periodical claim reports.
    • Developing tools and recommendations for claims risk management/fraud detection.
    • Establishing specific goals in conjunction with claims handling.
    • Approving and/or recommending claims for settlement in line with the terms and conditions of the insurance policies and financial authority.
    • Participating in the development of Claims department budgets.
    • Enforcing the reserving policy following recommendations from the Finance department.

    Key Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
    • A post-graduate Diploma in Insurance will be an added advantage
    • At least seven (7) years’ relevant working experience in a busy Claims environment and three (3) years’ experience in a managerial position
    • Extensive knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements of insurance companies.
    • Results oriented with an entrepreneurial and innovative approach to business.
    • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
    • Good analytical, reporting, communication, and presentation skills.

    Executive PA & Office Administrator

    Key Responsibilities

    • Planning and coordinating arrangements for board meetings
    • Coordinating and facilitating the CEO’s calendar to schedule meetings and appointments
    • Making travel arrangements and maintaining travel records
    • Screening incoming reports and correspondences while making a preliminary assessment

    National Sales Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Setting sales team targets and evaluating their performance
    • Discussing new sales procedures in liaison with branch offices.
    • Consulting with stakeholders in the insurance industry to gain advice regarding insurance products.
    • Evaluating the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research, and development appropriations.
    • Developing, and evaluating the sales and marketing strategy, based on the company’s objectives.
    • Representing the company at trade fairs and associations.
    • Conducting regular monthly meetings with other key sales positions.
    • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Sales Department.
    • Preparing comprehensive monthly reports of branches, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.

    Technical Services Manager

    Key Responsibilities
