ROLE PURPOSE
Plan International is an independent child rights and humanitarian organisation committed to children living a life free of poverty, violence and injustice. Dimensions of the Role
To consolidate and track annual procurement plans and purchase requests, to keep the user informed of the procurement progress. In addition this role generates and shares various SCM reports with the SCM team and the user departments. To carry out procurement activities for goods and services as per laid down procurement policies procedures and processes while maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability

Education Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Supplies Management or Supply Chain Management
Knowledge and Skills that the Intern will demonstrate at the End of the Period
Be able to qualify and work as a procurement officer
Criteria for eligibility
Those eligible to apply to participate in the internship program shall be Kenyan citizens who meet the following criteria:
Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
