    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    Deployment Frequency:

    • How often code is deployed to production. Higher frequency indicates a more agile and responsive development process.

    Lead Time for Changes:

    • The time it takes from code being committed to being deployed to production. Shorter lead times suggest more efficient processes.

    Change Failure Rate:

    • The percentage of deployments causing a failure in production. Lower rates indicate higher quality changes and better testing processes.

    Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR):

    • The average time it takes to recover from a production failure. Shorter MTTR shows effective incident management and recovery processes.

    Automated Test Pass Rate:

    • The percentage of automated tests that pass in the CI/CD pipeline. Higher pass rates indicate better code quality and reliability.

    Availability/Uptime:

    • The percentage of time the system is operational and available. Higher availability is crucial for customer satisfaction and trust.

    Incident Volume and Severity:

    • The number and severity of incidents occurring in production. Fewer and less severe incidents indicate more stable operations.
