    ICT Support Technician - Kisumu

    We are looking for people who share our passion for technology and our vision for global impact.

    Your Role

    As an ICT Support Technician you will be expected to offer support and maintain our information technology systems and networks. You will perform both technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer and telecom systems.

    What You Will Do

    • Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects
    • Troubleshooting networks related issues across KOKO facilities, suggesting best practices to continuously improve network experience
    • Maintain and update asset registers and conduct periodic audits
    • Managing positive relationships with our technical support providers and vendors
    • Development and conducting of company wide device maintenance schedule
    • Install and configure software and hardware (printers, scanners etc)
    • Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration
    • Respond to ICT Helpdesk service requests
    • Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
    • Act as link between end users and higher level support
    • Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality
       

    What You Will Bring to KOKO

    • Have a minimum of BSc in information technology or computer science
    • At Least 2 years experience in IT support roles.
    • Experience and expertise with G-suite / Google apps is a must
    • Ability to Communicate Effectively to help customers fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience.
    • Certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc) is a plus
    • Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
    • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
    • Critical thinker and problem-solver
