    Officer, Credit Operations B2B & B2C

    Job Purpose Statement

    The purpose of this role is offer Credit Operational support tensure the recovery of the Debt Portfoliin all markets that the Bank shall operate in 5 markets (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Ivory Coast) and
    other prospective markets (Nigeria and Ghana) with >30Mln customers and Group Balance Sheet size of >Kes.13Billion. This shall be achieved through ensuring timely implementation of strategies shared by the
    PortfoliAnalysts. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets texecute process and collections optimization. He/she must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools. He/she must have a proven ability tdrive business results with data-based insights. The Credit Operations Officer will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders timprove credit performance outcomes, reviewing, compiling, and analysing daily and monthly portfolimonitoring and collections reports, identifying data patterns and trends from available information sources. He/she will ensure full compliance with The Group Credit Policy, Banking Act, and CBK Prudential Guidelines, Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Regulations, Co-operation Agreements; and preparation of portfolio reports to stakeholders.

    Ideal Job Specifications

    Academic:

    • University Degree - Upper 2nd Class honors or equivalent
    • One (1) T24 usage of Credit and Operations Modules.
    • Practical experience in use of relevant MS Office application.

    Desired work experience:

    • Three (3) years banking experience with 2 years in credit operations and systems role.
