Senior Data Scientist at AJUA (Formerly mSurvey)

• We are looking for a Human to spearhead efforts to optimise the performance, integrity, and security of our data infrastructure and pipelines

Requirements:

• University degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics).
• Ownership mindset with the ability to propose scalable solutions.
• Self-learner with quick adaptation to new technical skills.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Proficient in analytics tools (SQL, dbt, Python, R, Prefect, Airflow).
• Skilled in crafting complex queries and managing SQL/NOSQL databases.
• Experience with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Knowledge of data modelling and database technologies.
• Familiarity with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and analytics tools (S3, Athena, Glue, Quicksight, GCS, Dataproc).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
