    Operations Manager - Wine Shop

    Location: Gigiri Courtyard, Gigiri Lane

    Job Summary: We are seeking a mature, trustworthy and proactive Operations Manager to oversee our high-end wine shop, which also serves other alcoholic beverages to takeaway and sit-in customers. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team in a similar environment. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs), stock control, cash and bank reconciliations and excellent customer service skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage daily operations of the wine shop and bar, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
    • Lead, train and supervise staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
    • Develop and implement SOPs to streamline operations and maintain consistency.
    • Maintain a clean and descent environment at all times.
    • Monitor and control inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing wastage.
    • Conduct bank and cash reconciliations accurately and promptly.
    • Handle client and supplier communications, including receiving calls and managing inquiries.
    • Ensure the shop is compliant with all health and safety regulations.
    • Provide basic wine knowledge to customers and staff and be open to further training.
    • Utilize POS system effectively for transactions and reporting.
    • Oversee procurement processes and manage supplier relationships.
    • Perform IT-related tasks and maintain records using MS Office tools.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Preferably a lady aged 30 years and above.
    • Proven experience working in a high-end bar or similar setting.
    • Demonstrated experience in team management and staff training.
    • Experience in developing and implementing SOPs.
    • Basic wine knowledge with a willingness to learn more.
    • Stock control and inventory management skills.
    • Experience in bank and cash reconciliations.
    • Proficient in IT with basic knowledge of MS Office and POS systems.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Must be hardworking, proactive, and able to work independently.
    • Preferably residing close to Gigiri or in a safe environment nearby (will be required to work until late)

    Wine Steward/ Waiter - Wine Shop

    Job Summary: We are seeking a professional and knowledgeable Wine Steward/Waiter, preferably a mature gentleman aged 28 years and above. The ideal candidate will be proficient in English and possess basic service and wine knowledge, with a willingness to undergo further training. This role focuses on providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a memorable experience with every visit.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.
    • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine selections and pairings, offering detailed descriptions of various wines.
    • Take orders accurately and deliver beverages promptly.
    • Ensure that all wine and beverage service areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
    • Assist in maintaining inventory and conducting regular stock checks.
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
    • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to the Operations Manager when necessary.
    • Participate in staff training sessions to enhance wine knowledge and service skills.
    • Set up tables and ensure the dining area is prepared before service hours.
    • Process transactions using the POS system efficiently and accurately.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Preferably a mature gentleman aged 28 years and above.
    • Proficient in English, with excellent communication skills.
    • Basic knowledge of service standards and practices in a high-end dining environment.
    • Basic understanding of wines, with a willingness to undergo further training.
    • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
    • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
