The successful candidate must have a solid background in credit control. He/she must have a proven working knowledge of accounting, credit and collection functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that payments are received in accordance with the company’s current term of business.
• Develop, implement and maintain effective and professional credit control policy and procedures.
• Control and manage the risks related to non-payment, late payment and account opening.
• Set and monitor credit limits.
• Timely billing and reconciliation of Customer Accounts.
• Provide reports on the status of debtors to management.
• Manage lease contracts.
• Work closely with the sales and customer service teams.
Qualifications:
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting.
• Must have professional qualification in Accounting or Credit management.
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in credit control.
• Proven working experience of accounting, credit and collection functions.
• Strong customer service focussed and team oriented.
• Excellent Verbal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to build strong business relations.
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years Managerial experience in a camp, hands on, strong leader who can lead by example.
Key Responsibilities:
• Day to day running of the camp and ensure all operational areas are functioning
• Daily communication with head office with a detailed report of activities.
• Ensure accurate reporting on areas of responsibility.
• Effective stock management according to company set operational standard.
• Maintain effective communication, at all times, with the team
• Be accountable for all relevant Product delivery and Stock management
• Monitor and oversee Maintenance issues
• Prepare Monthly Management reports together and share with head office.
• Complete weekly rotas for the team and maintain correct staffing level at all times
• Ensure Health and safety/fire checks are carried out, as required
• Ensure Overall property appearance is pristine at all times
• Resolve and handle Guest complaints
Qualifications:
• Management degree/diploma from a reputable institution
• Over 3 years of experience in a Tented camp
• Very good computer skills – MS Office Suite
• Must possess outstanding guest services skills
• Sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
