    Social Media Manager

    Salary: Kshs 40,000 to Kshs 70,000 per month (depending on experience)

    • Our client is a reputable Chinese company with operations in Kenya currently seeking a skilled and organized Business Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and have a strong understanding of both Chinese and Kenyan business cultures.

    Job Summary:

    • The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and customer engagement efforts. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and the sports betting industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms (e.g., Meta, X, and TikTok) to align with business goals.
    • Create, curate, and manage engaging content, including text, images, videos, and promotional materials on a daily basis.
    • Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and customer feedback, responding promptly to inquiries and comments.
    • Analyze and monitor social media metrics (e.g. SEO and web traffic) and generate reports to measure the success of campaigns and strategies.
    • Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media activities with broader marketing objectives.
    • Research and stay up-to-date with current industry benchmark trends, emerging platforms, audience preferences and competitor activities to ensure our social media presence is cutting-edge.
    • Plan and manage social media advertising campaigns and implement new features to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
    • Engage with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach and increase brand loyalty.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to content on social media.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in social media management.
    • Hands on experience in content management.
    • Strong knowledge of online marketing channels, social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
    • Excellent copyrighting and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
    • Creative thinker with a strong sense of visual aesthetics and ability to deliver creative content including text, images and video.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills.

    Finance Assistant

    Salary Range: Kshs 50,000 to Kshs 60,000 per month

    Our client is a reputable Chinese company with operations in Kenya currently seeking a skilled and organized Finance Assistant to join the team.

    Job Summary:

    • Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, assisting in the preparation of financial reports and compliance with internal controls.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in maintaining financial records and updating financial databases.
    • Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and budgets.
    • Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash transactions.
    • Support the finance team with audits, both internal and external.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
    • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
    • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
    • Prepare Tax reports and file Tax returns through the iTax system on time.

    Qualifications:

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Part II or its equivalent qualifications.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Sound working knowledge of the KRA iTax system.
    • Strong attention to detail, integrity and excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Knowledge of Kenyan tax regulations and financial practices.

    Business Assistant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as a liaison between the company and Chinese-speaking clients, suppliers, and partners.
    • Translate documents, emails, and other communications from Chinese to English and vice versa.
    • Assist in the preparation and coordination of meetings, including taking minutes and following up on action items.
    • Manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for the management team.
    • Support the finance department with basic accounting tasks and reporting.
    • Handle inquiries and correspondence, both internal and external.
    • Assist in the planning and execution of company events, meetings, and conferences.
    • Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and office management tasks.
    • Conduct market research and prepare reports to support business development activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
    • Experience studying in China is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) – listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in an international or Chinese company.
    • Familiarity with E-Business.
    • Strong data analysis skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Understanding of Chinese and Kenyan business practices and cultures is a plus.
