    Resident Project Manager - Nairobi

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Inspect work carried out by engineers / contractors and responsible for quality control, snagging etc.
    • Organize repairs / remedials where required.
    • Adhere to relevant Health & Safety procedures and comply with electrical and building control standards.
    • Planning and project budgeting, ensuring budgets are closely managed and accurately reported.
    • Assist in reviewing estimates and project design.
    • Develop and maintain a project plan for the delivery of solar array projects customer base.

    Key Requirements Skills, experience and qualification

    • A Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Renewable Engineering
    • At least 10 years’ experience in a relevant position most of which should be in the solar industry.
    • A good understanding of the Sola and renewable energy business.
    • Have great network in the industry.
    • Experience in leading teams in a fast-paced technical environment

    Construction Engineer - Nairobi

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • The management and reporting of project technical risks relating to ground conditions and civil design and the mitigation of these risks where appropriate using internal team and consultants.
    • Procuring desktop site investigation materials and coordinating intrusive SI and field works as appropriate to quantify and mitigate risk
    • Assessing highway impacts and progressing relevant approvals and licenses, permits and agreements
    • Managing other site-specific technical risks as they arise which could include a wide and diverse range of topics necessitating specialist support.
    • Liaising with relevant technical stakeholders such as Highways Departments / Consultants to create acceptable submissions to the Local Authority.

    Key Requirements Skills, experience and qualification

    • A Degree in Civil Engineering
    • At least 7 years’ experience in a relevant position most of which should be with solar projects and in solar fittings in construction
    • Experience in the management of managing risk and creating / maintaining records to track risk.
    • Experience working in or managing a team of multi-discipline consultants to explore and mitigate risk.
    • Good map and geospatial appreciation, types, uses and how to interact with and use relevant data (topographical / DTM / DSM) and understanding of GIS, CAD and relevant BIM systems.
    • Relevant site design experience in wind, solar, BESS or other infrastructure projects.

    Solar PV Specialist - Nairobi

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Review, inspect, and test the performance of solar installation.
    • Work with installation contractors to help ensure quality and adherence to PSI standards.
    • Commission and optimize all solar installations for peak performance.
    • Perform on-line and on-site trouble shooting of system performance problems throughout the term of the performance agreement.
    • Set-up remote access to the solar installations along with appropriate reporting and alarming functions.
    • Work with others in the Performance Assurance group to ensure that all system functions and production monitoring are in place to properly monitor and evaluate the energy performance of the systems.
    • Work with the StarTimes solar engineering team while providing feedback to improve new system design and reliability.

    • Kenya Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority KEPRA Solar PV System Class T3 license or equivalent.

    Solar Design Engineer - Nairobi

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Study and analyze of documentation of projects.
    • Research, study and technical implementation of local codes/standards.
    • Create designs, including layout, energy/feasibility studies.
    • Create energy system designs.
    • Support construction phase, interacting with PMs, Engineers and Subcontractors.

    Property Manager - Ruaka

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, rent collection, and tenant relations.
    • Market and advertise available rental units to attract prospective tenants and minimize vacancy rates.
    • Screen prospective tenants, conduct property tours, and negotiate lease agreements in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
    • Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs, including regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
    • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, requests, and concerns, and ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain tenant satisfaction.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
