    Temporary Field Supervisors - Nyamira (2 Positions)

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Attend training and pretesting of data collection tools Validation tool and CPARA tool 
    • Work closely with the USAID Nuru Ya Mtoto representative assign the Enumerator Households appropriately.
    • Work with the LIP to coordinate CHVs and assign them as guides to households 
    • Support data collectors in the field – ensuring all field activities are conducted satisfactorily.
    • Closely liaise with the Enumerator to track activity progress, assess daily targets, and ensure quality data is collected,
    • Act as the custodian of data collection tools and field guide notes and any other study items issued
    • Provide a daily report to the USAID Nuru Ya Mtoto Representative on the progress
    • Provide final report and submit completed data tools to the LIP M &E for entry

    JOB SPECIFICATION:

    • Minimum of Diploma or bachelor’s degree from recognized institution 
    • Previous experience in supervising survey activities
    • Fluency in English and Swahili languages. (Fluency in local language is an added advantage).
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in data collection, including surveys
    • Previous engagement with PATH or OVC program in a similar/related task is an added advantage
    • Available for the orientation on tools and during the whole data collection period.
    • Experience in organizing, conducting, and coordinating surveys
    • Demonstrate ability to work in a team
    • Group leadership skills – to support a team in the field
    • Fluent in English and Swahili languages 
    • Ability to speak the local language will be an advantage
    • Ready to conform to highly demanding work
    • Good writing and listening skills
    • Experience in conducting surveys in the study areas will be an added advantage
