    Human Resource and Administrative Manager

    The ideal candidate should be a dynamic, passionate & hardworking leader who is able to manage all HR functions. He/she MUST have a strong working experience in labour laws and payroll preparation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Make sure all employees are well integrated with the company’s goals.
    • Provide support to the manager.
    • Increase the level of employees’ competencies and efficiency in the organisation.
    • Perform HR audit to make sure HR practices are implemented.
    • Conduct HR researchers using internal and external data.
    • Come up with suggestions for improving and standardising the HR Practice within the organisation.
    • Actively participate in writing and updating HR policies and procedures.
    • Actively participate in other HR related projects.
    • Payroll preparation as well as administrative duties.

    Qualification:

    Must have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
    Must be a member of IHRM.
    • Candidates with hospitality industry experience will have an added advantage.
    Must have a minimum of 5 years in management.
    Must have strong knowledge of HR and employment law in Kenya.
    Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Computer literate.
    • Good written and spoken English.

    Head of Operations

    The successful candidate will be responsible to manage the operational departments of the unit and will continually improve productivity, food quality, service and increasing sales and profit throughout the Hotel. Experience working on the East African coast is a MUST!

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop with the Head of Operations, General Manager and Management Team annual operating plans for the hotel that are aligned with the strategic plans.
    • Set marketing strategies in line with overall company strategy and objectives.
    • Work with sales and marketing team to develop campaigns and offers to create awareness, grow market share and revenue.
    • Guide the development and approve annual operating plans for each business unit.
    • Lead, train and manage the Departmental heads.
    • Forecast budget/Revenue and operating /capital expenditure for the hotel control approve and monitor revenue and expenditure against approved budget.
    • Put in place effective security systems.
    • Ensure all hotel operations are compliant with all licensing laws, health and safety codes, labour laws, and other statutory regulations.
    • Interact with government, regulatory institutions and customers suppliers’ financial institutions community representatives and general stakeholders.
    • Upgrade projects standard review and process re-engineering projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree in Marketing/Business/Finance/Hotel Management.
    • At least 5 years working experience in a Managerial position in a resort.
    Strong F&B knowledge.
    • Very creative – to bring new ideas and concepts.
    • Strong organisation skills and show great attention to detail.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

    Senior Investment Principle

    The successful candidate must be a self-starter, well connected and have at least 10 years of transaction experience within renewable energy and a track record in private equity within the region. He/She should have a deep network of relationships and be able to originate, develop, execute and lead transactions in the region.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Originate Transactions.
    • Perform due diligence.
    • Perform valuations.
    • Negotiate legal agreements.
    • Present new projects to the investment Committee.

    Qualification:

    Conservation Manager

    The successful candidate must effectively manage the ranger team in all their duties and maintain discipline and reporting structures as well as manage He/She must have strong community relations experience and speak fluently Kiswahili.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all users of the conservancy area are adhering to the conservancy code of conduct and bylaws including those of the Grazing Regulations.
    • Implement the livestock management plan and ensure that this is appropriately controlled and communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Oversee the collection of any cattle fines administered for trespass within the conservancy and ensure this money is appropriately recorded.
    • Ensure all conservancy equipment, infrastructure and assets are properly maintained.
    • Maintain a petty cash float and submit expense sheets for reimbursement.
    • Ensure effective communication is taking place between the Management Company and the Conservancy Landowners.
    • Produce a brief weekly report covering for the Board of directors: Work completed & scheduled, grazing, wildlife, security and landowner updates.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong Organisational Skills.
    HR and workshop experience.
    • Livestock experience an advantage.
    • Basic accounting.
    • IT knowledge including GPS tracking & mapping skills.
