The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) was established through an Act of Parliament published in November 2011 to provide for civilian oversight over the work of the police in Kenya. The inaugural Board was sworn into office in June 2012. Vision: A robust civilian accountability mechanism that promotes public trust and confidence in the National Police Service. Mission: To conduct impartial and independent investigations, inspections, audits and monitoring of the National Police Service to prevent impunity and enhance professionalism in the interest of the public
The Regional Office Coordinator will be responsible to the Chief Executive Officer through the Director in charge of the regional office.
Interested persons who meet the above criteria are invited to send their applications by submitting the duly completed IPOA job application Form , updated CV, academic certificates, testimonials and the above specified clearances. Canvassing and incomplete applications may lead to automatic disqualification. Applications in a sealed envelope with the job reference number clearly marked should be received by the undersigned on or before Friday, 6th FEBRUARY, 2018.

Applicants MUST note that they may be posted to serve in ANY of the following regional offices; Mombasa, Kisumu, Garissa, Nakuru, Eldoret (with a satellite office in Lodwar), Nyeri, Kakamega, and Meru.
