Quantity Surveyor at County Government of Kisumu

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, monthly valuation on site, site re-measurements; calculating fluctuations.
• Undertaking contractual claim analysis; pre and contract cost control; cost analysis and cost planning.
• Providing cost information services.
• Preparing variation orders and final accounts.
• Any other duties as may be assigned.

Academic Qualifications.

• Be in possession of Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:~ Building Economics, Quantity Surveying or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Been registered as a Graduate member of either the Architectural association of Kenya of the institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya;
• Certificate in computer applications.
