    Corporate Communications Officer (Carbon)

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    50% Writing and Content Creation:

    • Press Releases: Write and distribute clear, compelling press releases that capture key developments, milestones, and impact stories related to BURN’s carbon financing and clean energy efforts
    • Executive Writing: Develop speeches, talking points, and other communications materials for BURN’s senior leadership, ensuring alignment with BURN’s mission and voice
    • Content Creation: Craft high-quality editorial content, including newsletters, blog posts, and op-eds that support BURN’s communication strategies and highlight key aspects of the organization’s work
    • Internal Communications: Support internal communications by developing newsletters, updates, and memos to keep teams informed and aligned

    40% Media Relations:

    • Media Outreach: Build and maintain strong relationships with international media outlets, journalists, and influencers to promote BURN’s brand and initiatives
    • Media Strategy: Collaborate with the communications team to develop and execute media engagement strategies to support BURN’s campaigns, product launches, and global initiatives, including carbon pre-financing
    • Media Monitoring: Track media coverage and analyze trends to identify opportunities for proactive engagement with international outlets

    10% Strategic and Crisis Support:

    • Crisis Communications: Support managing media responses during crises, crafting clear, well-considered messaging to protect and promote BURN’s reputation
    • Collaborative Work: Partner with internal stakeholders, including the communications, marketing, and executive teams, to ensure cohesive and strategic messaging across all platforms
    • Media Monitoring: Conduct media tracking and provide reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of media strategies and identify opportunities for improvement

    Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
    • 5+ years of experience in media relations and editorial writing, preferably in a social enterprise, nonprofit, or sustainability-related field
    • Proven experience working with international media outlets and strong media relations skills
    • Strong experience writing for executive and senior leadership teams, with the ability to develop clear, compelling speeches, talking points, and editorial content
    • Proven track record of writing high-quality, well-researched press releases, articles, newsletters, and reports
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, impactful messages
    • Experience in carbon financing, clean energy, or environmental sustainability is a plus
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of quality under tight deadlines
    • Experience in crisis communications and strategic media engagement is an advantage
    • Familiarity with the clean energy sector, carbon financing, or environmental advocacy
    • Experience working in a multicultural and international environment
    • Knowledge of digital media trends to enhance content visibility

    Field Operations Stock Point Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities : 

    Last Mile Inventory Management:

    • Ensure safe, timely & effective flow of inventory in the last mile meeting BURN’s operating procedures and processes consistently
    • Overseeing stock storage processes including tagging and labeling
    • Report the stock status to the warehouse supervisor on the daily basis
    • Keep an accurate, and up-to-date track of inventory to minimize losses and damages
    • Ensures recovery of lost inventory happens according to processes
    • Ensure incoming product is received and managed/arranged appropriately according to BURN’s procedure

    Stock Taking:

    • Be responsible for managing and running planned stock takes
    • Manage and control inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks with support from Field Operations Officer and sales agents

    Forecasting

    • Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock
    • Placing and receiving orders from the regional warehouse to replenish stocks as needed

    Sales Orders:

    • Report sales orders (via serial numbers) to the Field Ops Officer on the daily basis

    Aftersales:

    • Receiving the default product brought back for fixing and communicating resolution timelines to the customer
    • Troubleshoot and fix defaulted products and update the relevant reports after resolution

    Skills and Experience

    • Diploma in supply chain management or a related field
    • 1 year of stock management
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytic/number-crunching background
