    Regional Manager – Ecosystems & Value Chain Banking

    Description

    In line with enhancing career progression of staff and to support business growth, we seek to recruit a qualified, experienced, self-driven, highly motivated and passionate candidate to fill the following position in Payments Department.

    Regional Manager – Ecosystems & Value Chain Banking

    • Responsible for locating and proposing of new business partnerships to be on-boarded as new Anchors, Sub Anchors and Retailers within the region
    • Follow up to conclusion on the appraisal process of new anchors/Sub-anchors for the region
    • Daily tracking and driving achievement of Ecosystems Performance set targets on the various business streams
    • Performance Management and coordination of the teams charged with the roles of executing Ecosystems opportunities in the branches
    • Championing and feeding the business with market business intelligence around Ecosystems emerging trends in the region
    • Supporting Ecosystems business growth initiatives by the branch teams
    • Facilitating and conducting trainings on Dealer/Retailer Financing in the region
    • Developing the region’s growth strategy for Ecosystems Business
    • Attending high profile business meetings with High Net-worth clientele
    • Reports origination and sharing with the relevant stakeholders
    • Accelerating Product consumption & portfolio monitoring including retailers On-boarding & products uptake
    • Responsible for Cross-selling bank payment rails as well as monitoring trends on utilization for Anchors, Sub Anchors and Retailers
    • Responsible for loan book Growth & maintain a high-quality portfolio in liaison with Retail and Corporate Departments
    • Tracking all the pipelines and making constant follow up to ensure prompt closure

    Ecosystems & Value Chain Supervisors

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensuring all the onboarded retailers can always transact seamlessly
    •  Ensuring all the onboarded retailers borrow and repay within the stipulated loan tenure period
    • Relationship management with the Anchors, sub anchors and retailer teams for enhanced business partnership
    • Appraising the retailers and advising the branch on limits activation as well as on-boarding status
    • Regular visits to Anchors, Sub Anchors and retailers and ensuring that all their issues are resolved within SLA time
    • Being the liaison person between the business & IT/the technical teams for all Ecosystem technical requirements
    • Liaison with the Payments Dept Business analysis team for harmonized Ecosystems reports covering retailer financing and the Payment Rails utilization
    • Facilitating and conducting trainings on Dealer/Retailer Financing

    Qualifications

    • At least an O-Level pass of C+
    • Degree certificate in a business-related field.
    • Holders of a marketing related professional qualification will have an added advantage.
    • Performance appraisal rating of 3.5 and above (for internal staff recruitment)
    • Must have at least 3 years’ experience at Equity Bank (for internal staff recruitment)
    • Experience in Card business will be an added advantage
    • Effective writing and presentation skills in English;
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

    Relationship Manager -ATM Services

    Role Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the identification of key ATM locations and negotiates leases and deployments
    • ATM sites business performance analysis. (Profitability, revenue tracking &assurance)
    • Develops and maintains partner relationships to further strengthen the ATM business.
    • Leads ATM projects to implement new ATM features and services.
    • Manages ATM projects financial projections.
    • ATM Sites rationalization.
    • Product development, testing and deployment
    • Maintain ATM uptime /service availability.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Bachelor of commerce, Economics, Building Economics, land Economics, Statistics, Math’s or related social science, IT, Education
    • 5+ years of experience in financial services,3 of which must have worked at Equity Bank.
    • Prior experience in channel management or business cases will be added advantage.
    • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret business reports.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions and/or recommendations to management.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Working knowledge of ATMs, a plus, but not required. The ability to learn about the ATMs and to gain a basic understanding of technology that supports them is required.
