    Head Of Engineering

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Leadership & Management:

    • Team Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the Project Execution & Design team to ensure high performance and professional development.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
    • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.

    Resource Management

    • Allocate engineering resources effectively across various projects.
    • Manage engineering budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.
    • Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of engineering staff.

    Project Development & Integration:

    • Project Design
    • Lead the design of solar, BESS, small hydro and other electrical systems.
    • Ensure the design meets project requirements and industry standards.
    • Review and approve design documents and technical specifications.

    System Integration

    • Oversee the integration of different renewable energy systems into a cohesive mini-grid.
    • Coordinate with electrical engineers, software developers, and other specialists to ensure seamless integration.
    • Conduct testing and validation of integrated systems.

    Collaboration

    • Work closely with project managers to align engineering efforts with project timelines and budgets.
    • Engage with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and community representatives, to ensure project success.
    • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, procurement, operations) to support project needs.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Technical Guidance
    • Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team.
    • Troubleshoot complex engineering issues and provide solutions.
    • Stay updated on the latest technological advancements in renewable energy.

    Feasibility Studies

    • Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, including site assessments, resource evaluations, and financial analysis.
    • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.

    Risk Management

    • Identify potential risks in project design and implementation.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

    Quality Assurance & Compliance:

    • Quality Control
    • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
    • Implement corrective actions for identified quality issues.
    • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure all engineering projects comply with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
    • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and update engineering practices accordingly.
    • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for regulatory approvals.

    Innovation & Improvement:

    • Process Improvement
    • Identify areas for improvement in engineering processes and workflows.
    • Implement best practices and innovative methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Monitor the impact of implemented improvements and make necessary adjustments.
    • Technology Exploration
    • Explore and evaluate new technologies and tools in the renewable energy sector.
    • Recommend and implement new technologies that can improve project outcomes and operational efficiency.
    • Continuous Learning
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the engineering team.
    • Organize training sessions, workshops, and seminars to keep the team updated with industry trends and technologies.

    Reporting & Documentation:

    • Project Documentation
    • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
    • Maintain records of design documents, technical specifications, test results, and project reports.
    • Performance Reporting
    • Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, engineering performance, and budget status to senior management.
    • Use data and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Client Relations
    • Engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with engineering solutions.
    • Address client feedback and make necessary adjustments to project plans.
    • Community Engagement
    • Work with community representatives to ensure projects meet local needs and gain community support.
    • Address any concerns or issues raised by the community.
    • Industry Representation
    • Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and events.
    • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven experience with solar, BESS, offgrid electrical systems.
    • Strong project management skills and experience managing medium to large-scale off grid projects.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    Head of Sales

    Job Overview :

    As the Head of Department, you will be the driving force behind your team's success, providing strategic leadership and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the department operates efficiently and effectively, aligning with the broader organizational goals.

    Duties & Responsibilities :
    New projects

    • Identify and secure new business opportunities for energy power projects
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners in the energy sector.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the hydroelectric power industry.
    • Negotiate and close deals while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure that sites are available before pre-feasibility analysis.

    Electricity Sales

    • Develop strategies for the sale of electricity generated by company projects.
    • Establish and maintain contracts with electricity buyers, including utility companies and private entities.
    • Monitor market prices and trends to optimize sales strategies and profitability.

    Sales Performance Monitoring

    • Track sales metrics and report to senior management regularly on sales progress, challenges and market insights.
    • Implement timely corrective actions to address any deviations from sales targets.

    Marketing

    • Develop and oversee the implementation of marketing plans and activities to support sales objectives.
    • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials and campaigns to increase brand awareness and lead generation.

    Budget Management

    • Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives.
    • Ensure efficient use of resources and monitor expenditures to ensure funds are being utilized within the budgets.

    Team Leadership and Collaboration

    • Provide strategic leadership to the sales team.
    • Develop and implement departmental plans, policies and procedures.
    • Align department activities with the overall business goals and objectives.
    • Mentor and encourage the sales team to achieve business targets and objectives.
    • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's knowledge of the products/solutions we sell to our customers and on sales techniques.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide performance feedback regularly in a constructive and professional manner.
    • Collaborate with various departments, including technical, legal, and finance, to ensure cohesive project execution and implementation of sales processes.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and consistent communication.

    Requirements
