Chief Operating Officer (Floriculture) at Summit Recruitment and Search

Key Requirements:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT, airfreight, procurement and technical teams.
• Implement process improvement strategies across operational departments.
• Reporting operational performance of the business to the CEO
• Maintain strong relationships with an array of stakeholders and partners to foster a resilient and reliable supply chain
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and promote a culture of ethics, integrity, and safety throughout the organisation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar executive leadership role, preferably in the industry/sector that is now ready for the next step in their career.
• Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Demonstrated success in delivering operational improvements and achieving revenue targets.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others towards achieving common goals.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
